Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society - Saskatchewan Chapter
While focused on protection of ecosystems, these CPAWS campaigns relate to the impact mining in Saskatchewan has on the environment.- Churchill River Basin Campaign The Churchill River basin is under threat from mining and other activities. CPAWS campaigns to conserve the ecosystems of this area from irresponsible mining activities.
- Mining in the Forest also involves protection of the northern environment from mining.

Coalition for a Clean Green Saskatchewan
works on Uranium issues. The Coalition now has an email group for people working towards a non-nuclear future for Saskatchewan to share information on sustainable energy and on events, news and information regarding the nuclear industry. strives to educate people regarding the nuclear industry in Saskatchewan and to halt all nuclear development in the province, including the mining of uranium. In doing so, it supports economic development alternatives in and for Northern Saskatchewan, maintains contact with Saskatchewan Church leadership, maintains a resource centre and provides speakers on request.WISE Uranium Project (World Information Service on Energy)
The WISE Uranium Project specializes in health and environmental issues involving uranium mining and enrichment. On its website extensive information can be found on mines and mining companies, radiation issues, waste tailings dams, enrichment issues, depleted uranium, etc. The website contains regular news updates on mining and related issues worldwide.Mining Watch Canada
A pan-Canadian initiative supported by environmental, social justice, Aboriginal and labour organizations from across the country. Offices are located in Ottawa.
