    The Craik Eco-village project is an incredible story of a small town right here in Saskatchewan that has become a model for designing and building towards a more sustainable future. They have built a multi-purpose community center in their community that incorporates a number of innovative ecological technologies to reduce the amount of the earth's resources that it uses.     "The Saskatchewan Environmental Society has undertaken an energy conservation project at the Saskatoon Friendship Inn that is significantly reducing the energy expenditures of the Friendship Inn and in turn reducing harmful greenhouse gas emissions that contribute to climate change."
