Write a letter to the editor
When you write a letter to the editor provide your name, address and telephone number, regardless of the method of sending. Newpaper editors reserve the right to edit letters for length, general interest and good taste and to be selective in what it publishes. Letters should generally be kept as brief as possible. Some papers have a limit of 300 words for letters to the editor. If you need more space to express your perspective on the issue, submit a 500 to 800 word article as a "personal viewpoint".
